Very proud of this award-winning relaunch of the Prince of Wales's family website. It's re-launch coincided with Their Royal Highness’s Diamond Jubilee tour to Papua New Guinea, Australia and New Zealand. The site featured a variety of multi-media content about the tour every day – photographs, video, text reports and audio recordings – and provides live updates via our range of social media channels, including Twitter, Facebook, Storify and Google+.
As for the new site itself, the key element is that it functions as a “family” of three individual websites, The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall; The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge; and Prince Henry of Wales, with a wealth of linked and shared content operating on a single platform.
The main aim was to create visually rich sites that 'Marjorie", our main audience persona would love. The responsive design, a greater emphasis on high quality photographic and video content with a news section that integrates and cross-references the work of all five members of the Royal Family. The design was an exciting new step forward providing a fresh new look that reflects the new royal family.
