NSW National Parks Website
While at Reading Room Sydney, we worked with the NSW Office of Environment & Heritage to evolve NSW National Parks away from their parent government identity in order to create a tourist and travel-centric digital destination and increase visits to their parks and attractions.
Following a robust digital engagement strategy led by Kirsty Robinson that was informed by extensive user testing and focus groups, I worked on developing an online engagement platform rather than just an informational website. This was a huge ‘big data’ project with the NPWS website servicing 225 national parks, more than 1600 attractions plus events and tours around the state.
I also led the visualisation of mapping across the site including the critical park alerts system.
